FAQs

What is the difference between Pro Series and Premium Series Tint?

Pro Series is a 2-ply carbon film, which offers up to 57% heat rejection from the sun and is more durable then cheaper dyed film that you will find on the market. We offer a lifetime warranty on this film and workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle.

Premium Series is a higher quality 2 ply ceramic film. The biggest difference between the two is that the Premium Series offers up to 93% heat rejection from the sun, meaning that even on a hot sunny day, you will feel nearly no heat from the sun through the windows.

This will reduce the requirement of air conditioning in the vehicle and provide comfort to the passengers with windows when rolled up.

We also offer a lifetime warranty on the Premium Series for film and workmanship as long as you own the vehicle.

Windshield - 75% VLT
Front windows - 70% VLT
Rear windows - No Limit

What are these scratches or streaks in my window tint?

Many confuse scratches or streaks in window tint as a defect of the film. However, this can be caused by a vehicle’s weather stripping. There is a fuzzy, felt-like material that lines the stripping around your windows. This traps particles when you roll windows up and down. Some cars have both sides lined, while others only have the exterior. When windows are rolled up or down, the dirt or other particles can cause the film to scratch.

Does the tint go on the outside or inside of my car’s windows?

We apply tint on the inside of windows. At first, the film will be laid on the outside of the window and then cut to fit the right shape. Next, the pieces of film are placed on a large piece of glass and trimmed. Then, it will be installed to the inside of the windows.

How long does it take to tint car windows?

Installation time typically ranges from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the type of vehicle and the number of windows being tinted.

How long should I keep my windows up after I have window tint installed?

If windows are rolled down too soon after the installation, the tint can peel off. If this happens, we will need to charge to remove and redo the windows. To avoid this, we recommend keeping your windows up for at least 7 days.

How do black dots and lines at the edge of a window affect window tinting?

The black dots or patterns at the edge of some windows are made from a Teflon material that is applied at the factory. Their purpose is to hide trim lines and edges on different vehicles. This Teflon material, although purely cosmetic, can make it difficult to apply window tint which is designed to go directly onto the glass. There are situations where it might prevent window tint from sticking, such as if the dot patterns or lines are too thick at the top of the window. Depending on the thickness of the material, it can cause a white border or different look in the area that the dots and lines lie. However, this poses no risk of peeling.

Will you travel to my home to tint my vehicle?

We don’t travel to homes for automotive window tint installation. This must be done in the shop to prevent dirt, dust, and other debris from getting underneath the window film. If you are a dealer or have a clean workshop that we can tint in, then we are able to travel for an additional cost.

How is automotive window tint installed?

1. To begin the tinting process, your windows are thoroughly cleaned to ensure that even the smallest pieces of dirt are removed.
2. Next, a piece of film is cut to the size of your window, and a release liner is removed, exposing the film’s adhesive.
3. An application solution is sprayed onto your window.
4. Then the film is then carefully placed on the glass.
5. Using a squeegee, the application solution is removed from between the glass and the film.
6. We will trim the edges of your film to ensure the perfect fit for your windows if required, otherwise we leave a small 1-2mm gap.
