We check it properly
The wheel goes on the balancer so we can see exactly where it's out of true. We'll show you what we find.

Straightened, often while you wait
How long it takes depends on the damage. Most jobs to fix buckled alloys are done while you wait. If the wheel isn't safe to straighten, we'll tell you and advise on replacement.
Our process
We measure it before we touch it.
A buckle is often on the inside edge of the rim, where you can't see it. Every wheel is inspected and measured first, so nothing gets missed.

Questions
Before you come in
Is it safe to drive on a buckled wheel?
Get it checked as soon as you can. A buckle can cause vibration, uneven tyre wear and air loss. If the tyre has a bulge in the sidewall, don't drive on it.
Do I need to book?
No. Buckle repairs are walk-in: come any time 10am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
How long does it take?
Often while you wait. It depends on how bad the buckle is and where it is on the rim.
Can you fix buckled wheels every time?
Most buckled rim repair jobs can be done, but not all. Every wheel is inspected first. If it isn't safe to straighten, we'll tell you and advise on replacement.
Is there a warranty?
No. A straightened wheel can be damaged again by the next pothole, so we don't offer a warranty on buckle repairs.
Can you come to me?
From 26 October, yes: £96 plus a £60 call-out Monday to Friday (£120 out of hours and weekends). Never on a motorway.
