I recently had four wheels refurbished by Vantom and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The wheels had been damaged by a tyre fitting company and needed to be completely refurbished. Vantom did an excellent job. The finish is absolutely spot on and the wheels look fantastic. The quality of the workmanship is immediately obvious and they look as good as new. I was initially surprised when their website showed they managed comms through WhatsApp but I was impressed from start to finish with comms, replied within minutes every time and kept me updated throughout. Vantom carried out a professional assessment of the wheel prior to work starting and showed me on the balancing machine that the wheel was not only cracked but buckled as well. They then repaired and completed the work within 1 hour. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Very professional guys and good value for money.

These are the prices you'll pay at our Congleton workshop, whether you're coming from Macclesfield, Sandbach, Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent or anywhere else in Cheshire and Staffordshire. Next-day turnaround is standard on refurbishments, and cracks and buckles are walk-in, no booking needed.

Every cracked or buckled wheel is inspected before we touch it. If a wheel isn't safe to repair, we'll tell you and advise on a replacement rather than take your money.

Crack and buckle repairs include tyre off and on and balancing. Repairs don't carry a warranty, because the strength of a repaired wheel depends on how it was damaged, but every one is pressure tested before it leaves.

How our prices compare across the UK

Across the UK, powder coated alloy wheel refurbishment is typically £80 to £110 per wheel for a 17" to 19" wheel, and diamond cutting £120 to £150, with many workshops adding £10 to £30 per wheel for every size step above that, plus VAT on top. Our £90 and £144 prices apply to any size up to 23" and already include VAT, so a set of four 20" wheels that might cost £440 to £520 elsewhere is £360 with us.

Ways to pay and save

Price questions

How much does it cost to refurbish four alloy wheels?

£360 powder coated or £576 diamond cut, any size up to 23", including VAT, tyre removal, refitting and balancing.

Do bigger wheels cost more?

No. A 23" wheel costs the same as a 16" wheel. 23" is the largest size we refurbish.

How much is a cracked alloy wheel repair?

£96 per crack, TIG welded and pressure tested. If a wheel has two cracks, that's two repairs. Walk in any time from 10am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Is it cheaper to repair or replace an alloy wheel?

Almost always cheaper to repair. A new OEM alloy can cost several hundred pounds; a refurbishment is £90 and a crack or buckle repair is £96. The exception is a wheel that is cracked through a spoke or the hub, which we won't repair.

Do I pay up front?

A £60 booking fee holds your refurbishment slot and is deducted from the final bill. Walk-in crack and buckle repairs are paid on the day.

Do you charge extra for colour changes?

Standard gloss and satin colours are included. Special colours are £72 per job, and shadow chrome, chrome and candy finishes are £72 per wheel.
