I recently had four wheels refurbished by Vantom and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The wheels had been damaged by a tyre fitting company and needed to be completely refurbished. Vantom did an excellent job. The finish is absolutely spot on and the wheels look fantastic. The quality of the workmanship is immediately obvious and they look as good as new. Alloy wheel repair at our Congleton workshop starts from £90 per wheel, with next-day turnaround as standard. We repair kerbed, scuffed and corroded alloy wheels, one wheel or a full set, and back kerb, scuff and corrosion repairs with a 12-month warranty (subject to terms).

Most alloy wheel repairs we see are kerb rash on the rim edge, scuffs from parking, and corrosion creeping under the paint or lacquer. We fix the damage properly, then refinish the wheel so the repair can't be seen and the new finish lasts.

  • Scuffed alloy repair: scuffs and scratches on the face and spokes

When repair isn't the answer

Most kerb, scuff and corrosion damage can be repaired, but we inspect every wheel first. If a wheel is cracked in a spoke or around the hub, badly bent, or corroded so deeply that it is no longer safe, we'll tell you and advise replacement rather than paint over a problem. Cracks elsewhere on the barrel can often be welded, and buckles straightened.
